History:

The first documented ski jumping competitions on Bråtabakken took place in 1929. Until the first conversion in 1956, there was just one hill, but from then on a smaller hill existed. Eleven years after, in 1967, also floodlights were installed and used for the first time that winter.
In 1970, the two inrun towers were replaced by bigger ones, which also allowed longer jumps on both hills. While the hill record on the larger one was raised to 47 meters in 1987, the distances on the smaller hill were around 20 meters.
