History:

At Tomter Idrettspark the K28 hill was first built in 1970 and four years later the K40 followed. The first plastic mattings were installed in 1978. After the last major conversion in 1997, there were four hills for young jumpers, but the larger one has very old-fashioned profile. Characteristic is the long and very flat take-off, as well as the very steep landing hill. The jumps, which appear impressively big, are all - except K40 - equipped with plastic mattings and plastic inrun trails for summer jumping. In 2009, a plastic-covered K4 mini ski jump was built in order to support the youngest jumpers.
In summer 2020 a fundamental modernization of the Granskollen junior hills was started. By 2021, the Tomter Hoppteam of Hobøl IL will have got four modern plastic hills K28, K16, K10, and K5 in service.
