History:

Konsgberg has a great tradition in ski jumping, Its sportsmen gained 3 Olympic Gold Medals (2x Birger Ruud and 1x P. Hugstedt), several silver and bronze and many WSC titles.

The first ski jumps at Kongsberg were made on March 7, 1909 on Persløkka ski jump. This ski jumping hill was used until 1950’s.
