History:

Bøhlerbakken in Northern direction from Spydeberg had a very mixed history. It was firstly inaugurated in 1933. Unfortunately, the wooden inrun tower collapsed during World War II and could not be rebuild in that time.
After the war, there were plans for a reconstruction, however it was postponed several times. In 1957, the project was finally started again. Five years later, the landing slope was completed, but the half-finished inrun tower collapsed and had to be reconstructed. This time, iron masts were chosen and turned out to be way more stable. Unfortunately, the tower was placed way too close to the knoll, which resulted in a very high flight curve, that saw many jumpers land in the radius of the outrun - way too far down.
Still, the ski jump was used until the early 1980's, when a landslide destroyed the landing slope. In 1986, the inrun tower was demolished eventually.
