History:

The small Kjølenkollen in Ørje was inaugurated in January 2012. The first jump on the new facility was made by the legendary Norwegian ski jumper Anette Sagen and the ribbon was cut by Clas Brede Bråthen. The ski jump located on the national border is the result of a collaboration between the Norwegian municipality of Ørje and the Swedish Tøcksfors. It is located partly in Norway and partly in Sweden - the borderline runs right on the take-off. The landing slope of the hill is covered with special mattings so that it can also be used in summer.
