History:
After the last competition on Bjørkbakken took place back in 2002, it was slowly dilapidating into an uncertain future. The problem of this a bit outdated ski jumping hill is that it is too large for the younger jumpers and too small for the seniors. But then in 2007 the HS 88 of Stjørdal was reactivated and since Norges Cup competitions have been hosted. Before already in 1975, 1991 and 1998 the Norwegian Junior Championships were organized there.
