Gylbakken was owned by Gyl IL, but also used by the biggest club of the community, Tingsvoll IL. In 1962, floodlights were installed here, which increased its popularity. In 1976, Gyl IL, Tingsvoll IL and Torjulvågen made an agreement, which made Gyl IL become the owner of the floodlights either, while the other two clubs could still use the ski jump. Unfortunately, there is not much more known about it.
