History:

In 1937 Andreas Øvergaard of Åmot IL started with the construction of Mehlumbakken near Modum. The first competition was finally organized in 1939, but earlier Birger Ruud already made the first trial jumps. The ski jump was only used until 1951, in training jumps Åsmund Pettersen even jumped on 80 meters.
