History:

Rektorhaugen Hoppbakke was built in the early 1950's by enthusiasts of Ski og Fotbollklubb Lyn. Until the early 1960's, it remained a snow-only ski jump, but then Jens Salvesen jr. built a take-off made of stone. Following that, only the inrun had to be leveled, but otherwise it was a natural ski jump. Thanks to its central location, many people used to jump there. Even nowadays, only enough snow is necessary to reactivate it.
