First ski jumps in history of current Kazakh territories existed in 1930s in Kamenskoye Plato in Almaty, not far away from famous Kok-Tebe mountain. Two hills (K20 and K25) were built there by local ski jumping and nordic combined pioneers - Alexander Stepanov, Sergei Girzhen and Pavel Chulok.
