History:

The Red Warehouse Jumps in Myoko-Kogen are near the big city Niigata (Hosting city of the Football WC 2002).
A Japanese ski jumping festival takes place every year on the Akakura, at which also stars like Masahiko Harada or Noriaki Kasai take part. But the hills inaugurated in August 2001 are an important training facility in summer and winter, too.
