History:
The Kōrakuen Baseball stadium in the center of Tokyo was inaugurated in 1937 and already in the following winter the idea to host Japanese ski jumping championships there was realized. In order to make the competition on the temporary ski jumping hill at the stadium on 1938-02-27 possible tons of snow were brought in by train from Niigata Prefecture. One year later in 1938 and in 1950 this event was repeated even twice.
In 1988 former Kōrakuen stadium was replaced by the 55,000 spectator hosting baseball hall Tokyo Dome.

Picture 01, Picture 03, Picture 06 belongs to the Koshien baseball field Provisional Schanze(in Nishinomiya,Hyōgo Prefecture).
Picture 02, Picture 05, Picture 07 are correct at the Kōrakuen ballpark Provisional Schanze
and, Picture 04 is unknown in detail.
The reason for this is that the roof of the audience seating shown in Photo 1 is the roof called "Dai-tetsu-san（great umbrella）" peculiar to Koshien Stadium.
