History:

Nayoro is situated in the far north of Hokkaido isle, i.e. in the far north of Japan, too. The two ski jumping hills can be reached in about 15 minutes from the city centre by car.
In 2001 and 2004 the World Cups of Nordic Combined was hosted there.
