History:

In Foppolo, a small ski area in the province of Bergamo, a natural ski jump was built in 1934. It was located close to Lago di Foppelle at an altitude of about 1700 meters, below Monte Valgussera. Still in the late 1950s, the best ski jumpers in Italy took part in the competitions on the 42-meter hill.
