History:

Already in 1970 there seems to have been the first ski jumping competition at Akureyri, but then it took until 1981 to built a permanent 18 meter hill. One year later it was enlarged into K21 and in 1983 into K25. At the annual youth winter sports festival in April ski jumping had been performed from 1981 to 1995. Today the jump is no more in use.
