History:

In Einsiedel, a southern suburb of Chemnitz, both Pionierschanzen were constructed with a steel-made inrun tower in 1971. They are still covered with the old but still working plastic mattings, but no longer used for competitions. While the young jumpers of Einsiedel practised there very successfully until late 80’s, today the jump is mainly used by alpine training groups.
