History:

In 1949 TV Rabenstein constructed a natural ski jumping hill in Rottluff, a district in the western part of Chemnitz, on which distances of up to 28 m were jumped. H. Nestler, who worked on the ski jump at Adelsberg, too, was involved in the construction of Kupferbergschanze. Unfortunately already after the winter 1972/73 ski jumping activities were stopped, because of a lack of interest due to the concurrency of surrounding jumps like Grüna and Einsiedel. Today only relicts of the former ski jumping hill can hardly be seen.
