The two ski jumps at "Löhchen" were built in 1932, according to the ideas of the Thuringian ski jumper Oskar Recknagel, who was the father of the famous Helmut Recknagel. Competitions were held until 1961. Four years later, a replacement for the bigger hill was built at "Thäler", which unfortunately was not in use for too long.
