History:
Stierbergschanze in Lam was constructed from 1984 to 1987. The main initiator was Sepp Mühlbauer, who was not only organizer, but also engineer and constructor at the same time. In 1987, the hill was inaugurated in course of the club championships of WSV Schmelz. But only five years later, the last competition took place.
The hill was not maintained anymore and had to be demolished eventually to avoid collapse. Furthermore, there also was the Ostmarkschanze in town.
