History:

Already since 2001 plans of building the “Nordischer Sportpark Beckstein” at Lauda-Königshofen have been existing, also three ski jumps should be included. The costs for the construction of the plastic covered hills with ceramic inrun trail and steel inrun tower were counted on 400,000 €. Before in December 2000 especially the “Ski- und Skisprung-Club Beckstein” had been founded, at which Olympic Gold Medal Winner Jens Weißflog is advice-giving member.
But until today there is a lack of sponsors and there are problems with the money given by the state.
