History:
The enthusiastic teacher Wilhelm Müller had been taking care of organizing skiing activities at Hundsbach in Baden from mid 1920's onwards and founded the ski club in 1927. In August 1929 Müller designed the plan of a skijumping hill that could finally be inaugurated on 1931-01-15 and was named after him. Until the beginning of World War II in 1939 the ski jump was used during annual junior ski days.
After the war the jump was used again, but it finally had to be dismantled in 1960 and later the ski lift was placed at the same location.

Sprungschanze am Kirchenbuckel
Hallo Hansjörg,
durch Zufall bin ich auf die alte "Schanze" in Hundsbach gestoßen - auf der ich einige Jugendspringen für den Ski-Club Hundsbach gesprungen bin und auch ein paar davon gewonnen habe.
Anschließend bin dann auf die alpine Schiene umgestiegen (habe noch einige Uhrkunden aus dieser Zeit).
Es war eine schöne Zeit, ich selbst gehöre seit Kindheit dem Hundsbächer Ski-Club an.
Es sind gefühlte 50 Jahre.
Am 13.02.1988 bin ich zum letzten Mal eine Vereinsmeisterschaft in der AK II am Hauerskopf gefahren, was ich in meiner Altersklasse gewonnen habe.
Trotz meines Alters bin ich überall auf den Pisten und auch bei schönen Tiefschneefahrten im Allgäu und in Österreich unterwegs.
