History:

The ski club from Fröhnd near Schönau in Black Forest started with the construction of a youth and pupils' ski jumping site at Fröhnd-Hof in fall 1976. In more than 3200 hours of voluntary work force the two natural ski jumps K42 and K20 with judges tower and a steep counter slope were built and completed in October 1977. They were inaugurated on November 28, 1977, with Georg Waldvogel setting the record distance of 40.5 m.
During Black Forest senior championships in 1978 Martin Schartel improved the record on Kolbenlochschanze on 42 m. The last competition there was already held on 1985-01-12 with Black Forest youth championships.
