History:

After two years of construction time, Hardtschanze was inaugurated on February 27th 1955. The workers got support by the community as well as from the French commander’s office, which brought trunk wood for free.
This was needed for the inrun tower, which unfortunately does not exist anymore. Only the take-off is a relict of the good old days and even its condition is not too well. The slope is partially visible during winter, when the trees do not have any leaves anymore.
There is no more knowledge about Hardtschanze out there, it is also difficult to find historic photos of it.
