History:

The first ski jump in Georgia was built in Bakuriani in 1935. It was a K40 ski jump in which was launched program to learn ski jumping for young athletes.
In 1969 complex in Bakuriani was completelly rebuilt. In place of old K40 ski jump was built four new hills (K115, K90, K70 and K45). From 1971 to 1980 there was held international competitions in ski jumping.
In 2001 after the long break without any competition in Bakuriani there was hosted Georgian Ski Jumping Championships in which Levan Kosanashvili won. In this event competed few ski jumpers from Georgia, who was trained by Koba Tsakadze.
Since 2011 the K45 ski jump has again been used and Georgian athletes train there. Since 2011 each year the Mishka Mikaberidze Memorial has been held. Mikaberidze was a ski jumper from Georgia, who died as 16 year old in September 3, 1982 at ski jump in Kirov.
In January 2013 Bakuriani was visited by vice-president of Georgian Olympic Commitee, who said that a future renovation of the K45 and K70 ski jumps according to international standards is planned.
