History:

The large ski jump in Chènevarie at Lans-en-Vercors was inaugurated on February 8, 1931 as part of the 20th international ski competition of Villard-de-Lans. The Lasueur from Switzerland won the competition with a jump of 45 meters, but out of competition the Norwegian Simonsen reached 61 meters. The hill, which allowed jumps of up to 70 meters, was probably only used for a few years.
