Already around 1912 there was a first ski jumping hill at Samoëns, on which even international competitions were held, and in 1931 a second ski jump was built. The K58 and K30 ski jumps at the ski ressort of Les Saix on 1600 meters altitude were probably reconstructed around 1965-1974. Until 1990s even international junior competitions were held there. Today, the ski club of Samoëns and the local school are sometimes organizing ski jumping activities for kids on a snow ski jump.
