Winter sports activities in La Jasserie du Mont Pilat, a small settlement next to Crêt de la Perdrix, with 1432 m highest peak of Pilat mountains (Mont Pilat), already started in 1911. In end 1920's Eugène and Jean Masson initiated the construction of a small ski lift and the first wooden ski jump on the meadow "La Cuvette". A new ski jumping hill with wooden inrun structure was set up in 1933. The metal structure even still stands today.
