History:

The history of the facility dates back to 1957, when, at the initiative of the local community and members of the Ski Club Xonrupt-Longemer, the main K40 ski jump was built. The wooden structure quickly became a venue for regional competitions as well as club championships and ski jumping shows. The hill was intensively used for more than two decades, until the 1980s, when due to the development of modern ski jumping facilities in nearby Gérardmer and La Bresse, as well as changes in the structure of ski jumping in France its importance gradually declined.
