History:

On the slopes of the Champs-aux-Dames in Jougne, people were already skiing in the late 1930s. After the Second World War, Michel Paquette founded the Jougne ski school in 1946 and the ski jumping hill was probably built during the same period. In the 1950s, (second class) international ski jumping competitions were also held there. In 1953, the first ski lift was also installed on the Champs-aux-Dames. At the end of the 1990s, the neighboring Métabief ski area was greatly expanded and as a result, the lifts and probably also the 50-meter ski jump at Jougne were abandoned.
