History:

The 1964 built Pitkävuori ski jump at Kaipola near Jämsä, on which Matti Nykänen once became Finnish champion in the 80’s, was closed in 1994 due to security reasons, because jumpers were flying around 10 meters above the ground. The hill record was set up in the very last competition.
In 1986 and 2005 there the legendary Audi TV spots were made.

Ciekawa skocznia

Inrun

This inrun construction seems like it would be possible to allow jumping over 120 meters. I think that is because the flying style changed over the years.

weltcup
