my father was born and raised in nurmes,leaving for us in 1912. we lived in duluh minnesota area [woodland] since 1944. my mother didn't like the long name, so she changed it to puumala. my brother still lives there, i live in tennessee. I jumped off "small chester", but the korean war ended my career at age 12, my older brothers all got drafted.thanks for all the info on this website.
