History:

The very first ski jumping competition at Kuopio already took place in 1886. Then the first ski jump was built round 1900 and jumps on about 14 meters were possible on it. In 1910 an additional 20 meter hill was constructed. The largest hill of Finland at that time, a K90, was built in Kuopio in 1949, too. In 1958 the construction of a smaller K50 beside the K90 followed. The first World Cup competition at Puijon was held in 1995. Finally in 1998 the large hill K120 was built as it stands there until today, so it hasn’t been changed since.
After Kuopio was the yearly opening of the ski jumping World Cup for some time, since some years it has been the 2nd station of the Nordic Tournament.
In 2013 a new K16 junior jumping hill could be constructed and was named after Matti Hautamäki.

Lanisek 136 m

Robert Mateja 23.08.2015 o skokach Anze Laniska:

Pamiętajcie o nieustanym/podpartym 136-metrowym skoku Laniska.

This hill needs K-point on 115!

Warto dodać historię rekordów letnich. Podczas LGP w 2000 roku najpierw Kasai skoczył 128 metrów a następnie Ahonen 129,5.
