History:

The ski jump in Fredericia was located in Fuglsang Forest (Fuglsang skov) in its part called "Bjergbakkerne". It was built in 1949 thanks to local forester Harald Jensen. Wooden inrun was ended with two railroad cars laided on side - bottom part of them was buried underground so takeoff was only 50 cm high. It also had a small platform for judges and press. It was possible to jump up to 15 metres and a lot of competitions were organized here. Unfortunately, after a few years the whole construction started dilapilating and it was too dangerous to climb the inrun. For safety reasons, it had to be torn down around 1955. The ski jump there was never rebuilt.
