In Gruň (Polish: Gruń), a district of the village Hrádek (Polish: Gródek), people jumped on a small hill in the years 1935-48. The opening took place on February 3, 1935. The competitions and training at the facility were organized by the Polish Tourist and Sports Association "Beskid Śląski". This organization stated in their announcements that the ski jump was 10 minutes away from the train station in Gródek. During the competition on February 9, 1936, a record of 34 meters was reached on the newly renovated ski jump.
