History:

In 1945, shortly after the end of World War II, the construction of the ski jumping facility at Dmoutě pod Vavřinečkem in Domažlice began. The works were mainly carried out by German prisoners of war. The complex consisted of two wooden hills K36 and K18, a judges tower and a cabin with electric lighting. The smaller ski jump was used very rarely.
Competitions in subsequent years showed that the hills did not meet the required safety standards. There was also often a lack of snow to prepare ski jumps for jumping, that was also why the last competition planned for 1965 did not take place. Then, the condition of the facility was getting worse and in the early 70s the complex was dismantled.
