The first ski jump in Nová Huť, a district of Dýšina west of Pilsen, was built in 1929 under the leadership of the skier Emanuel Šonský. The 45-meter hill was located on the western slope of the 443 m high Kokotsko. In 1930 even the Norwegian top jumpers around Sigmund Ruud were jumping there. In the 1930s, many competitions were held there even into World War II. After 1941 the ski jump was only used for competitions in 1963 and 1967.
From 1955 to 1957, there were also two small junior hills that were covered with straw mats in the summer.
