History:
The German ski club of Mährisch Altstadt, now Staré Město pod Sněžníkem at the western border of Hrubý Jeseník mountains, constructed a ski jumping hill in late 1920's. In winter 1929 the first competition was organized and distances over 20 meters could be reached. The following events held in 1930's also included the district championships of Jeseník.
After the War ski jump architect Karel Jarolímek projected the hill as K35 and the enlarged ski jump could be inaugurated in 1949-1950, but hadn't been used for very long.
