History:
The first ski jumping hill at Písařov with wooden inrun and takeoff was constructed in 1956 and its critical point was at 39 meters. In 1969 the takeoff was changed in order to make longer distances possible, but then in 1972 the hill was completely new constructed. A steel-made inrun tower was set up and the beginning of the radius now was at 58 meters. Later two smaller ski jumps were built up with K41 and K23, which were covered with plastic mattings in middle 70’s. In 1977 the pupil’s championships of whole former ČSSR took place on the hills. The last competitions took place in 1988, since Tatran hills have been laying idle and were finally completely torn down in 2006, except for the inrun structure of K41.
