History:

Vratislavice nad Nisou (in the past German Maffersdorf upon Neiße) is a city district of Liberec. The skiing section of swimming club of Maffersdorf constructed the first ski jumping hill in 1929 on a brewery estate on the foot of Proschwitz ridge (Prosečský hřeben). The planning was made by Ing. Walter Nowak from Maffersdorf. After World War II the hill was reconstructed as K57 (P47) according to plans by Josef Zita. It then had a 23 meter high steel inrun tower and plastic covering for summer jumping. Until 1970’s the ski jumping hills had been used, but meanwhile it is dilapidated.
