History:

The first ski jumping hill at Male Svatoňovice (ger. Klein Schwadowitz) was built at the end of the town going towards Petrovice in 1924 and it was operated by the two ski clubs LK Jestřebích hor and SK Hradec Králové. The record distance was at 26.5 meters by Vondrák, then the hill was enlarged onto K35 in 1939.
After World War II the ski jumping hill was reconstructed as K55 (P45) with a steel inrun tower in 1951-52. Beside a smaller K37 (P30) training hill was built up. In the upper part of the landing hill it was necessary to dig into the soil, while at the outrun there was a counter slope. Works were carried out with the support of workers of nearby Východočeské Uhelné mine.
The hill was hosting the cup of Hawk Mountains (Pohár Jestřebích hor) from 1954 to 1963, and in 1966 Petrovický cup, won by Kábrt, was the last competition to be staged there. Afterwards the hills started dilapidating and were only used for training until 1970's. The last hill record was at 56 meters.
