In 1928, a small ski jump was built in the Montaci forest at Náchod. In the first competition, a jumper named Bim jumped the longest at 28 meters. In 1933, a certain Lukeš stood 47 m during a regional competition. In the 1950s, several large jumping and combined competitions were held at the reconstructed facility.
