History:

Machov is situated between the Riesengebirge and the Adlergebirge. The town is placed directly at the Polish border and the ski jumping hill in the Area of Hurce was first built in 1947. Over the years it was converted many times and has today a K-Point of 64 m.
In 1984 the hill with plastic covering called “Junior I K34” and “Junior II K19” were built. In 1999 the “Junior III K12” followed and now there is also a K8-hill for the smallest ski jumping starters. This development is a result of the good youth preparation and the great work of the local ski club BKL Machov.
