History:

In 1929 Norwegian immigrants founded Viking Ski Club and constructed the first ski jumping hill at “Côte des Neiges”. In 1930’s the club activities and ski jumps were moved to Saint-Jérôme / Christieville.
Already in 1918 a small snow jumping hill was set up at the same place in Parc du Mont-Royal.
