History:

In January 1913, the winter sports competitions for the "White-Red Ribbon of Upper Austria" were held for the first time in Bad Goisern and a "large" ski jump was opened on this occasion, besides there was already a youth ski jump. In 1930-31, the Dr. Hans Wagner-Schanze was renewed and enlarged, and named after the chairman of the Goisern winter sports club. National competitions such as the tri-state championship in 1933 and the challenge cup for the "Golden Mountain Boot" were held on the 30-meter ski jump.
After the 2nd World War, the Kalmberg-Schanzen were built in Bad Goisern-Ramsau.
