History:

The Klaushofer-Schanze of St. Aegyd is dilapidated and of course no more used. Nevertheless it had been kept as it is for a long time, but was finally dismantled. From 1985 to 1993 even Europe Cup competitions and several champion­ships were hosted there.

Im Rahmen meines Pilgerwegs (Wien - Mariazell) kam ich bei St. Aegyd im Neuwalde vorbei und hab mich auf der Suche nach der Schanze gemacht, aber nichts gefunden.
Dann fragte ich einen Einheimischen und der meinte das man auch den Holzturm nun weg gerissen hatte.
Schade, ich wollte Fotos machen...
